3-D Cupcake Animal Workshop See Photos of Our Students & Their Creations Learn to bake and create these endearing and whimsical 3 dimensional cat, dog, elephant and pig cupcakes. Using the Wilton Silly Critters Silicon Cups to bake delicious chocolate cupcakes, mold and create your very own animal heads and tails, then ice your cupcakes, and assemble everything together into adorable animal cupcakes that all kids and the young at heart will love! PLEASE NOTE THAT BAKING IN THIS CLASS IS ONLY BY DEMONSTRATION. ALL DECORATING IS HANDS-ON.
Class Details: Fee: S$100.00 net (no GST) including one pack of Wilton Silly Critters Silicon Cups (# 415-9451) worth $17.60 Class Duration: 2 1/2 hours Pre-requisite: None
Students will receive a B-I-Y-Certificate upon completion
You will learn: ' to bake delicious cupcakes from a recipe (students will each take home a copy of the recipe used in class) - baking will demonstrated only, not hands-on. ' to use silicon bakeware ' how to colour rolled fondant ' how to mold rolled fondant using fondant and gumpaste modelling tools ' how to harden rolled fondant for 3 dimensional effects ' how to harden rolled fondant for 3 dimensional effects
Students are required to bring the following items for the class: (We recommend that all items brought to class be labeled to prevent loss. We are not responsible for lost items.)
w * Small butter knife / icing spatula w * Dusting pouch with corn starch (pouch sold at the store, but not cornstarch) w * Small rolling pin (6” or 9”) w * Work Mat or Plastic Place Mats (must be at least 12” x 15”) w * Soft paintbrush (the brush will be used for food preparation) w Oven mitts & apron w Container and 2- 3 small ziplock bags to hold rolled fondant (for work purposes, to prevent rolled fondant from drying) w Container large and tall enough to carry 2 decorated cupcakes to take home after class w Plastic bags / ziplog bags to take home used items w At least 2 rags / cleaning cloth w Camera (optional)
